Tracking Trends at The 2025 SHOT Week Supplier Showcase

Jan 30, 2025 | News

This year’s SHOT Week Supplier Showcase offered shooting, hunting, tactical, and outdoor material suppliers like TVF a turn in the bright lights of Las Vegas. The two-day opener to the 2025 SHOT Show provided a glimpse into some industry trends taking shape:

Manufacturers want CORDURA®
The resilience and ruggedness of CORDURA® are legendary, and whether it’s used for vests, cases, holsters, bags, or other demanding applications, our booth was hit by manufacturers interested in the gamut of CORDURA® uses. TVF is not only a longtime, authorized supplier of CORDURA®, but we’re also experts in its capabilities. Our Resource Center provides a primer on what sets it apart, our website includes a deeper look at CORDURA®, and we have a nice selection in-stock.

Camo EVERYTHING
Another commonality among the global audience of manufacturers, professionals, and contractors was the high demand for camouflage fabrics… and really anything. TVF has multiple in-stock options available right now, including Magnatuff® Polyester and 1000 Denier Textured Nylon, but we also offer printable possibilities.

Get a Grip
Two of our most-popular sellers were also asked about often at the Supplier Showcase: Mega Grip® and Mega Grip II®. This 100 percent expanded PVC textile is a great no-slip material in adverse conditions for demanding fields (think shoulder straps, glove palms, bag and case panels, and more). You can see a case study that demonstrates another avenue of Mega Grip use.

Odds and Ends
Additionally, the experienced TVF Sales Team was asked about textiles that are Berry Compliant, fabrics that could be used for bags, and materials that meet military specifications (mil spec) and are NATO-friendly.
