Issue

Ink moves into areas of the print that do not reflect the printed file.

Why does ink migration or bleeding occur?

Too much ink is transferred from the paper to fabric.

Quick Fixes for Ink Migration and Bleeding

Change settings to reduce ink saturation on paper.

Ensure paper is completely dry prior to running through the heat press/calender.

Ensure fabric is climatized properly for printing.

Fabric should be stored in room temperature environment without too much humidity, as condensation can affect the fabric.

If necessary, create a new profile for individual fabrics.

OVER-SATURATION IS LIKELY THE CAUSE OF INK MIGRATION OR BLEEDING.
